Real-world uses
One connection, countless daily tasks.
Most SakuraCat members reach for it to do three things: binge a series, use an AI tool or dig through academic papers. Here is how the service fits each.
01 / Streaming and music
Your favourite shows, always within reach.
Pick a node in the region your platform needs, connect and open Netflix, Disney+, TVB or Spotify as you normally would. Switching to a different region takes only a few taps.
NetflixFilms and series
Disney+Series and originals
TVBCantonese dramas and shows
SpotifyMusic and podcasts
SakuraCat provides the connection only. Content libraries, video quality and playback restrictions are set by each platform, and streaming subscriptions are not bundled into any SakuraCat plan.
02 / AI assistants
Your AI toolkit, always reachable.
Write a brief, fix a bug or translate a paragraph with ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini. A stable VPN connection means these tools load dependably even when your local network struggles.

On supported routes each member gets a dedicated IPv6 exit address – your outgoing traffic does not share an IP with other users.
Search for papers, authors and references on Google Scholar and PubMed, then move between sources freely. Great for coursework, dissertation research and self-directed learning.
Google ScholarAcademic search engine
Google Scholar requests can also travel over your dedicated IPv6 address on supported routes, depending on the node configuration in use.
Full-text access to paywalled journal articles still requires a subscription from your institution or publisher – a VPN does not grant those rights.
Node availability and platform access can change. Always follow each service's regional and account rules. If something does not load, check the help center first, then contact support with your device, node and error message.
What dedicated IPv6 means for you
Your own exit address on every request.
On supported routes SakuraCat assigns a unique IPv6 exit address to each member. That means your traffic does not share an exit IP with strangers, which removes some of the friction that comes with shared addresses. Whether any given request actually travels over IPv6 depends on the route.
One service – separate addresses for every member

A personal address for browsing and AI
When a request to an AI tool or Google Scholar travels over IPv6, it leaves through the address assigned to you rather than a pool shared with other users.
The exit address is only one factor
Node load, your mobile carrier, the destination service and the connection protocol all affect what you experience. A dedicated address is not the same as dedicated bandwidth.
This only applies when a connection actually uses IPv6. The platform, the node and the connection method determine that – holding an assigned address does not guarantee every request will use it.
What should I check when an IPv6 connection behaves unexpectedly?
Follow each platform's regional and account guidelines, then check your node and client settings in the setup guides. If the issue continues, send support the platform name, the node and the exact error. Never share passwords, verification codes or complete subscription links.
Why members keep coming back
Configure it once, then forget about it.
Routes maintained for you
Advanced plans include IEPL dedicated-line nodes and optimised paths that we keep tuned. When a connection dips, the troubleshooting guide in the help center is the quickest first step.
Apps for every screen
Native clients are available for Windows, macOS, Android, Android TV and Linux, with an iOS and iPadOS beta on TestFlight. Every download is collected on a single page.
Three devices at once
Run a laptop, a phone and a tablet on the same account simultaneously. Check the concurrent-device limit in your plan before you switch between gadgets.
Guides from install to connect
Each supported platform has a short setup guide covering installation, sign-in and the first connection, so nothing is left to guesswork.
Encrypted traffic
Data flowing between your device and the node is encrypted. The service supports modern protocols including Trojan, Shadowsocks, V2Ray and VLESS.
Nodes where you need them
Basic plans cover Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, Taiwan and the United States. Advanced plans give you 26 regions when you need to go further.

Concise answers to the questions new members ask most. The help center covers installation and troubleshooting in greater depth.
What exactly is SakuraCat and who should use it?
SakuraCat is a VPN and network acceleration service built for Chinese-speaking users worldwide. Students studying abroad, remote professionals, expats and anyone who wants reliable access to global streaming, AI assistants and academic databases will find it useful on both computers and phones.
How many regions can I choose from?
Basic plan members can pick from five popular regions: Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, Taiwan and the United States. Advanced plan members unlock 26 regions worldwide along with IEPL dedicated-line nodes designed for more consistent performance.
What platforms and devices are supported?
SakuraCat has native apps for Windows, macOS, Android, Android TV and Linux. An iOS and iPadOS beta is available through Apple's TestFlight programme. One account supports up to three simultaneous connections, subject to the limit set in your plan.
Does SakuraCat work with Netflix, Disney+, ChatGPT and Google Scholar?
SakuraCat provides the network connection you use to reach those services. Whether specific content or features are available depends on each platform's own regional rules and your existing subscriptions – those are not part of any SakuraCat plan.
What is a dedicated IPv6 exit address?
On supported routes, every SakuraCat member receives a personal IPv6 exit address that is not shared with other users. This reduces problems caused by shared IP addresses but does not mean dedicated bandwidth. It only has effect when a connection actually travels over IPv6.
How do I get my first connection working?
Download the app for your device, sign in with your account credentials, select a region and tap connect. Each platform has a setup guide in the help center with screenshots and common troubleshooting tips if anything goes wrong.
