Solutions to the most common problems

App will not connect at all

Update to the newest version of SakuraCat, switch to a different region node and verify that the system proxy is turned on for Windows and macOS.

Connection speed is slower than expected

Try a node in a geographically closer region. Node load, your ISP and the destination service all influence speed – experimenting with nodes often helps.

A site or platform still will not open

Platforms each have their own regional and account policies. Choose a node in a region the service supports and ensure your account with that platform is in good standing.

Unable to sign in to SakuraCat

Double-check your email and password. If you think your account has been compromised, use the password-reset flow on the account page immediately.

Reached the device limit

Disconnect a device you are not currently using from the account, then try reconnecting. Your plan sets the maximum number of simultaneous connections.

Nothing has worked so far?

Contact support with your device model, operating system, the node you tried and the exact error message. Please do not include your password, verification codes or your full subscription link.

Common questions

Help center FAQ

The questions our support team receives most often – answered.

The app installed correctly but will not connect – where should I start?

Update the SakuraCat app to the latest version, try a different region node and confirm the system proxy is enabled on Windows and macOS. If the problem persists, note your device model, the node you chose and the full error message before contacting support.

A streaming service or AI tool still will not load after connecting. Why?

Each platform enforces its own regional rules and account requirements independently of your VPN connection. Select a node in a region the platform supports, review the platform's terms and keep in mind that platform policies can change at any time.

Where are the device setup guides?

Scroll down on this help page to find the guides for Windows, macOS, Android, iOS and Linux. If you still need the installer, visit the downloads page first.

What should I never include when I contact support?

Do not send your password, any verification codes or your full subscription link. Our support team only needs to know which device and operating system you use, which node you selected and the exact error message shown in the app.

How do I change my password or close my account?

Both actions are available from your account settings page. Account deletion runs as a scheduled process rather than instantly, and records required by law may be retained for a limited period as described in the privacy policy.
